Sailing before the wind

Tribord is the sailing brand of Decathlon, the most popular sports retailer in France. The brand was successfully extended to a large range of products from surfboard to bikini or life jacket. But the Tribord’s logotype was old fashioned, massive and difficult to use on several applications. Decathlon wants a new sign to embody the brand values, stand out and navigate on all products. 4uatre decides to go back the brand’s origins: water! We craft a very simple, universal and powerful sign. Symbol of a wave, a drop and a bubble, expressing harmony and dynamism, the new logotype is an anthem to nature. Much more easier to use on any product even in small size or weaving, it has been applied on 1600 products sold in 800 shops around the world (and seen wherever the water is).
